The Work of this project includes but is not limited to all labor, equipment, and materials to: construct a fully accessible 1.6-mile asphalt loop trail, reconstruct the main entrance and 0.5-mile Forest Preserve Road, reconstruct 0.2-mile interior drives and (4) parking areas, construct concrete walkways, install utilities and related infrastructure including: electrical system, (2) water wells, water distribution system and (1) septic system, install (3) evaporator restroom vaults, grade (2) shelter pads, install (2) floating piers with (3) concrete abutments, place boulders for seating, walls and shoreline restoration, seed turf and native areas The Work shall be performed at the following Work Site: Lakewood Forest Preserve 27277 Forest Preserve Road Wauconda, Illinois 60084 Any question and/or requests for clarifications must be submitted in writing to the Department of Purchasing no Later than 03/14/2023 2:00 PM, CST If any prospective Vendor is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Package, such prospective Vendor shall submit to Owner an email, not later than the date and time listed above, directed to Owners Purchasing Division, purchasingdept@LCFPD.org, for an interpretation thereof.
