The project will consist of improvements to the existing track and field located at the Benjamin Logan Local Schools Campus. Included with the work efforts will be the following: synthetic turf play field, all-weather track and track events and on-site storm water detention. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed in 45 calendar days from the notice to proceed. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and the Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Logan County and the City of Bellefontaine, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration, 614.644.2239. No bidder shall be considered a competent and responsible bidder or eligible to be awarded the contract to which this Notice applies, if the bidder is listed on the Auditor of State's database as having a "Finding of Recovery" as that term is defined in O.R.C. 9.24. Bids shall be submitted on forms provided and shall state the Unit Price or Lump Sum as indicated by the blanks provided therefore; and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked on the outside "Benjamin Logan LSD - Track & Field Improvements" with the contractor's name, address, phone number, email address and contact name. Benjamin Logan LSD reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities or irregularities in bidding.
