Parkway School District is seeking bids from qualified vendors for a complete, turn-key purchase and installation of an Audio/Visual Sound System for West Middle Gym. Questions Due Date: Mar 8th 2023, 12:00 PM CST Contractor shall provide, install, and configure a turn-key gymnasium audio & video projection system. 2. The Contractor shall provide, install, program, and configure all system components. The owner reserves the right to have access for all programs, codes and DSP products. 3. The contractor will build the audio rack with new updated digital equipment. 4. The contractor will provide additional microphone inputs on the far side of the gym for performance with 16 additional inputs. 5. The Contractor will supply a lift for use during installation. Please include in your bids. 6. All 120-volt power will be installed by the owner. Contractor will ID power locations and schedule with Small Projects Supervisor for installation. 7. All 120V and AV cabling must be installed in a factory or field painted white raceway. a. Vertical cable routes may be installed in either EMT conduit or surface raceway systems such as (but not limited to) Wire mold or Panduit. b. Horizontal cable routes must be installed in EMT conduit. Covering all inputs with locking cover plates. 8. The power cord for the projector can be assumed to be a standard grounded NEMA 5-15P style plug. Anything needing to be hard-wired shall be called out in the bid and coordinated with the owner. 9. All work must be coordinated with the District's Small Projects Supervisor and Foreman. 10. The contractor is responsible for all proper permitting associated with their scope. 11. Substitutions of equal or greater quality and functionality will be considered. All equipment bid must be designed to work together. The District is the sole authority on the determination of "equal or greater" equipment. a.
