As of October 27, 2023, an architect has been selected for the project and in the schematic design phase. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The State University Construction Fund (SUCF) is seeking Statements of Qualifications from consultants to provide design and construction administration services for the above referenced project. Myers Fine Arts houses the performing arts as well as the physical arts. Myers was constructed in 1969 and is a 113,252 GSF 3-story building. The exterior of Myers Fine Arts combines cast in place concrete panels and columns with a blond brick veneer. Yokum Hall houses communications and media studies as well as lecture halls. Yokum was constructed in 1968 and is a 62,245 GSF 2-story building and the exterior is a combination of structurally cast- in-place concrete columns and panels and a blond brick veneer with colored mortar joints. The Project is to provide masonry restoration including brick repointing, rework of weep holes, flashing repair, replacement of areas of outer brick, replacement of failing sealant at expansion and control joints, repair of cast-in-place concrete elements, mitigation of water infiltration, repair of entry flatwork at Southeast entry of Myers, abatement of hazardous materials as required.
