The CITY OF BRADENTON BEACH (City) is seeking bids via online bidding through portal from licensed and qualified contractors to successfully perform the City's construction related services for the Beach Flood Prevention Improvements Project within the City of Bradenton Beach. CONTRACTOR shall, at its own cost, provide all materials, equipment, permits, labor and everything of every sort which may be necessary for proper execution of all of the Work included in the RFP, according to the true intent and meaning of this RFP, including the drawings, plans, conditions and specifications, whether same are to be reasonable and obviously inferred therefrom and in part with the provided design plans as identified herein. Including but not limiting, successful coordination with City staff, required as-builts and/or final certifications and warranty's. The City is currently seeking sealed bids from licensed and current contractors to provide all labor, equipment, materials, coordination, and supervision necessary to successfully accomplish the Beach Flood Prevention Improvements Project. Work will include, but not limited to: o Site review and work plan layout ahead of schedule work activities (min 2-week) o Required survey to ensure work is consistent with plans and permitting and provide the city with GPS survey data on completed work as part of this project o Bi-weekly update meeting with City staff and other key stakeholders o Coordination with City staff o Any required clearing in areas of site work o Site restoration in all areas of site work affected o Schedule updates (min 2-week), o Any FDOT/City/County/FDEP coordination including but not limiting; compliance with standards, policies, requirements, and specifications o Coordination with all utilities along the corridor within the work areas o Repair of any landscaping and irrigation within work areas o Sidewalk replacement and restoration o General restoration o All incidentals associated with the project. P.No- LPA0054 Completion- 5/20/2024 The work shall be commenced at the time stated in the notice to the Contractor to proceed for each element and shall be completed in the number of consecutive calendar days stated in the Proposal and Bid Form or as mutually agreed between the City and Contractor but in no instance exceed a completion later than 3/15/24.
