EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades Construction at the Columbia VA Health Care System The primary scope is to replace the entire primary voice/data system throughout the hospital including renovation of main Data Center and adding telecom rooms as shown in the bid documents. Includes electrical upgrades as well as mechanical upgrades (some plumbing as required for rework), add to existing BMS, security work, etc. Architectural work includes: demolition, asbestos abatement, drywall/framing, flooring, etc... Sitework is a very large duct bank which will include patching back walkways, curb, paving, landscaping, etc. All the work will be phased. Phasing plan for the main Data Center (Basement) is on sheet A-100.0C. Plan for night work (VA operating hours are M-F, 7am to 5 pm). We have to coordinate any work outside of normal business hours. There are wage determination requirements. Project IS NOT tax exempt, please include all applicable sales & use tax. P&P Bonds will be required for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, LV (security, data, etc) and site work (duct bank). In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 8127 (Public Law 109-461), this project is a competitive Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. The contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, materials, labor, supervision, personnel, and shall do all things necessary that will result in the completion of the EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades construction project, in accordance with the attached Specifications and Drawings.
