Perform surveying, dredging and disposal of approximately 900,000 cubic yards of fine-grained shoaled material annually for three (3) years at the Anchorage Harbor. The Cook Inlet Navigation Channel (CINC), which is the marked entrance through Knik Arm Shoal to Anchorage Harbor, may also require periodic dredging. Depending on the severity of shoaling, CINC Interim Dredging (paid by the day) or CINC Maintenance Dredging (Paid by the cubic yard up to 350,000 cubic yards) may be awarded. CINC consists of sandy material with some cobbles. The dredging must be accomplished in a manner that keeps the Port of Alaska dock face and terminals accessible for shipping traffic at all times. The Contractor is to furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to accomplish the work. 1. The contract construction cost of this project is between $25,000,000 to $100,000,000. . All maintenance dredging in Anchorage Harbor and Cook Inlet Navigation Channel shall be performed using hopper or mechanical dredges only. Cutterhead, suction and pipeline dredges are not permissible.
