Stabilize any damaged painted surfaces, to the extent that flaking, chipping, and peeling paint is removed prior to refinishing or minor demolition of painted surfaces. Upon completion of the stabilization process, the surface shall be smooth and free of residual particles. LCP surfaces that are free of flaking, chipping, and peeling paint, may remain on the various substrates during demolition and the demolition material may be disposed as construction and demolition debris in a Class IV landfill (C & D landfill). This work shall consist of furnishing and placing sod at all locations shown on the Plans or where directed by the Owner, and in conformity with these Specifications. Ordinarily, the work will consist of the furnishing and placing of new sod originating from sources outside the rights-of-way and easement limits. In some cases, however, the work will include removing sod from areas where the requirements of the project would destroy existing sod, storing the sod so removed, and resetting it in areas shown on the Plans or designated by the Owner Bidders shall be licensed and qualified per state law. Five percent (5%) Bid Security is required in the form of a Bid Bond or check (certified or cashier's) POST-BID WITHDRAWAL OF BID FROM CONSIDERATION DUE TO MISTAKE A request to withdraw a bid due to a mistake shall follow the Policy and Procedure of the State Building Commission. In addition to the requirements therein, such requests shall be delivered in writing to the Owner not later than twenty-four hours after the time fixed for receipt and opening of bids. The Owner reserves right to: reject Unit Prices proposed in a bid without invalidating other portions of bid; reject a bid which does not provide all required Unit Prices; waive informalities; and, reject any or all bids
