The work consists of the removal of positive and assumed asbestos-containing materials on the interior and exterior of the school buildings in accordance to the bidding documents. Project Location: 612 Lakeview Avenue, Milford, Delaware 19963. For further information, please contact Valentino (Val) De Rocili at Compliance Environmental, Inc., (302) 674-4427, x101. Each prospective bidder must be represented by a full-time employee of that company. Attendees may not represent more than one company. Due to potential COVID-19 restrictions, as a minimum, each attendee shall ware a mask and observe social distancing guidelines. Also, any additional COVD-19 requirements must be followed during the site visit. Prevailing Wage Rates, as described by Delaware Law, must be adhered to where applicable. The bids may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. A bid bond is required. A performance bond and payment bond is required if the based bid is greater-than $ 50,000.00. The Contractor shall maintain a drug testing program during the term of the contract in compliance with Delaware Regulation 4104. The Milford School District may extend the time and place for the opening of bids from that described in the advertisement on not less than two (2) calendar days' notice, by certified delivery, facsimile machine, or other electronic means to those bidders who obtained copies of the bidding documents. The Milford School District reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject any and all bids.
