For Southwest Boulevard Water Main Improvements The City of Lexington is seeking bids to construct water mains and install new water meters. The project is called Southwest Blvd Water Main Improvements. The work includes replacement of water mains, meter pits, hydrants, valves and restoration of street and sidewalk. A pre-bid conference will be not be held. Questions may be directed to Jim Ross at 816-282-6367 or jim.ross@bartwest.com. The City of Lexington reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The City of Lexington is an equal opportunity employer. Minority or disadvantaged contractors are encouraged to bid. Bidders' questions and comments relative to these bidding documents should be submitted to the Engineer. Telephone calls submitting questions on the plans and specifications should be made to Jim Ross by calling (816) 282-6367. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Bartlett & West, 10895 Grandview Drive, Suite 110, Overland Park, KS 66210 (785) 272-2252. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents may also be examined at the office of the City of Lexington, City Hall, 919 Franklin Street, Lexington, MO 64067, on Mondays through Fridays during regular business hours. Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents and the date documents are transmitted will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt.
