The work will include: Remove and dispose of the east and west exterior entry doors, modify the curtain wall assembly by adding a new mullion to create a transom within the existing door openings and install shorter replacement doors, as indicated on the contract drawings. At the inside doors of the east and west vestibules, adhere a false mullion to the glass in order to match the look of the new transom at the new shorter exterior doors. At both the east and west vestibules, decommission the existing push plate switches and replace them with wireless push plate switches. Place the new switches in new locations as indicated. Supply and install pedestals to hold new push plate switches as indicated on the drawings. Modify the existing door operators to work with the new wireless switches. Relocate the operators at the exterior doors to accommodate the new transom. Replacement door assemblies shall be fitted with a removable centre mullion and three point locking mechanism.
