Furnishing all plant, labor, material and equipment and performing all work required for the construction of Downtown Street Reconstruction Denton Drive Houston Street. The Project is located in downtown Roanoke, Texas in Denton County. The scope of work generally consists of street reconstruction, water line replacement, drainage improvements, and miscellaneous enhancements on the respective streets between Oak Street and Walnut Street. Bidders are required to submit a cashiers or certified check issued by a bank satisfactory to the City of Roanoke, or a Bid Bond (with proper Power of Attorney) from a surety licensed to do business in the State of Texas, payable without recourse to the City of Roanoke, in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the total amount of the bid submitted to insure that the successful bidder will enter into a contract and provide all necessary bonds within fifteen (15) days after Notice of Award of the contract. This bid security must be included in the bid envelope for the bidder to be considered responsive. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bonds as described in the bidding documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all irregularities. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of 90 days from the date bids are open. ATTENTION: Pursuant to Texas Government Code 2252.908, you must be able to provide the City of Roanoke (the Owner) with a printed and executed original of a completed Certificate of Interested Parties form (Form 1295) prior to executing the contract. Failure to do so will result in the Owners inability to execute the contract. The deadline for questions to be submitted to civcastusa.com has been extended to Wednesday, February 15th at 12 pm.
