Description : The City of Rome intends to complete BOA predevelopment activities along Muck Road within the Erie Boulevard BOA. The project involves the planning and design for the extension of the Empire State/Canalway Trail along Muck Road through the public ROW and State-owned lands fronting the Barge Canal. Project tasks include designing stormwater collection and treatment facilities, designing an AASHTO-compliant recreational facility, and incorporating complete streets principles into the trail design. Total Budget : $150,000 The total budget for the project is $150,000. MWBE goals are based only on the state funding amount. The MWBE cost example shown below is based on the $150,000 total budget and the full $135,000 state allocation. If the proposed budget is less than $150,000, the MWBE amount will be reduced to reflect 30% of the state allocation. The selected consultant will be required to provide professional liability insurance of at least $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate and proof of worker's compensation and disability coverage. The selected consultant will be required to enter into a professional services agreement provided by the City of Rome through the Board of Estimate and Contract legislative process. The City of Rome reserves the right to reject any and all proposals in the best interest of the City. Only complete submissions will be considered.
