The Town of Simsbury is soliciting bids to install 2378 feet of 42 inches high 3- Rail fencing with white cedar railings and locust posts, rails should have wedge/paddle ends. All posts should be dirt tamped in place. All existing wood fencing is to be removed and disposed of by the contractor. See attached sketch. All work will be done Monday through Friday. No work shall be performed on State or Federal holidays unless with prior approval from the Director of Culture, Parks and Recreation Department. Work shall be completed with minimal impact to the trail users. The Town reserves the right to reject or cancel any and all bids, or any part of any or all bids, if such action is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. No oral interpretations shall be made to any respondent as to the meaning of any of the bid documents. Every request for an interpretation shall be made in writing.
