Roadway Paving Contract Perform approximately 4,891 SY of roadway milling; Furnish and place approximately 861 Ton of 19mm Asphalt Binder Course-Fine Graded, approx. 40 ton of 25mm asphalt base repair, and approx. 82 tons of 2A aggregate. Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the contract is required of all bidders for each contract. Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, as well as proof of workers compensation insurance will be required within 20 days of receiving notice of being awarded the bid to each contract. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act applies to project, wage rates will be provided. liquidated damages will be assessed at the rate of $ 975.00 per additional working day.
