For New Environmental Charter High School The Work of Project is defined by Contract Documents and consists of the following: The new Environmental Charter High School (ECHS), to be built at 6545 Hamilton Road, Pittsburgh, PA will deliver on the Environmental Charter School (ECS) mission "to educate each student to high academic standards using innovative curricula that will foster knowledge, love of, and respect for the environment to preserve it for future generations." In keeping with that mission, ECS is endeavoring to build one of the most innovative and sustainable buildings in the country. Not only will ECS pursue leading sustainability certifications, the school will use open-integrated, smart building infrastructure to demonstrate continuously monitored performance, specifically, all forms of energy and important parameters of indoor air quality and waste.
