The Town of Falmouth is reissuing a Request for Qualification (RFQ) for Acoustical Tile, Resilient Flooring, and Waterproofing, Dampproofing and Caulking firms interested in bidding on the construction of the Falmouth WWTF TASA Improvements project. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) procurement is conducted pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 149, Section 44 D1/2 and 44 D3/4. This RFQ is the first phase of a two-phase procurement process as set forth in M.G.L. Chapter 149. A Prequalification Committee has been established and has solicited and received Statement of Qualification (SOQ) packages for General Contractors and Subcontractors. Additional SOQ packages are requested for the three subcontractor categories noted above. The PREQUALIFICATION COMMITTEE will evaluate submitted SOQs based upon the identified evaluation criteria and will select those respondents it deems qualified. Only those respondents deemed qualified will be invited to bid in response to a detailed set of plans and specifications which will be issued in the second phase of the procurement process. The Town expects the bidding to be initiated on or about May 1, 2023. Waterproofing, Dampproofing and Caulking $200,000 Acoustical Tile $50,000 Resilient Flooring $30,000 Project involves renovations and improvements to an existing 1.2 mgd wastewater treatment facility located at 154 Blacksmith Shop Road in Falmouth, MA. The improvements include equipment replacement for existing processes, new tanks, new buildings, and architectural renovations to the existing Operations Building. Interested firms must submit an SOQ by the deadline set for submission. Only those firms determined to be qualified by the Prequalification Committee will be invited and permitted to submit a bid on the project. Firms that are not selected as qualified by the Prequalification Committee and firms that do not participate in the RFQ phase will be precluded from bidding on the project. All further required public notice information regarding the Project, including the prequalification evaluation criteria and the selection process, is included in the RFQ which shall be available to interested General Contractors and Subcontractors upon request as outlined above. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded by June 30, 2023
