This includes the upper and lower areas of the main service desk area and the 3-paned window. The location of the Work: Ypsilanti Transit Center, 220 Pearl Street, Ypsilanti, MI 48197 Removal and disposal of the current barrier and of the 3-paned window including all material, hardware,supports, debris, etc. o Structurally secured acrylic or other bullet proof barrier system - UL Rated Level 1 o Adequate structural support for the barrier system with reinforcement if needed o The system will allow unobstructed views of the lobby area o Arched style window system for natural voice transmission o Cover the entire counter top including the handicap / ADA access area o 2 Counter cash trays for transaction - See additions below for ADA window o Under desk ballistic protection - UL Rated Level 1 o Prevent physical access on all sides Barrier System to include slotted acrylic louvers above to assist with voice transmission and air flow. o Removal and replacement of the 3-paned window facing the customer bathrooms.
