The project involves remediation of the existing retention pond and appurtenant structures. Major work items include dredging of sediment build up, cleaning of all inlet pipes and structures, and restoring the retention pond to a functional stormwater management structure. Other major work items include constructing a fallen officer memorial and new pavilion. Additionally, Alternate 1 involves the replacement of approximately 2,900 SF of sidewalk surrounding the pond and the restriping of the existing ADA spaces to the north of Building B.
