The City of Georgetown's Downtown Austin Ave Parking Garage, located at 502 South Main Street, will include 5 levels of parking, one subsurface level and 4 above-grade levels, public facilities, and a commercial space to house city offices and meeting rooms. The parking structure has two entry towers which provide entry to parking levels. The vertical circulation areas are located at opposite corners of the garage. One tower is located on Main St, and one is located on Austin Ave, with each tower including stairs and an elevator. The concrete parking structure's facade consists of brick and limestone with storefront on the first and second levels. The commercial space has a storefront façade with deep aluminum canopies. The build out of the commercial area will provide office and meeting space for the Downtown and Tourism city staff. The construction of the new facility will be broken into two (2) phases. The first phase is to reconfigure and provide a new 5th Street entrance to the existing Block 27's parking lot. The second phase is to construct the parking structure and narrow 6th Street between Austin Ave and Main The deadline for written questions is February 1, 2024 at @ 5:00PM (CST). This deadline has been established in order to provide adequate time for City staff to prepare responses to questions from Proposers to the best of their ability in advance of the Pre-Proposal Conference meeting. The City reserves the right to request clarification or additional information specific to any Proposal after all Proposals have been received and the solicitation due date has passed. Additionally, the City reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of any Proposal, waive any formalities or technical inconsistencies, delete any portion of the Scope of Work, or terminate the Request for Proposals when deemed to be in City's best interest.
