The project consists of the demolition of nine (9) properties located 319-335 North George Street, York City, York, Pennsylvania. Bids shall be accompanied by bid security in the amount of Ten (10%) percent of the bid amount in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check or cashier's check as described in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder shall be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to One Hundred (100%) percent of the Contract, and each with satisfactory corporate surety. This Project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as amended, and Prevailing Wage rates are included in the Bid Documents. All demolition activity must be completed by March 21, 2023. YCIDA reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid if determined to be in the best interest of the YCIDA. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder within 45 days of the bid opening, unless extended as provided in the Instructions to Bidders.
