This Construction Management/General Contractor (CM/GC) project includes: The design and construction of a new USU academic building located in Monument Valley, Utah. The project requires Pre-Construction and CM/GC Services through design and construction of a 12,867 GSF building that includes CTE classrooms (nursing/health profession, computer, welding), general classrooms, offices and conference rooms and student services. The Fixed Contract Price Limit, as defined in the CM/GC Agreement, is: $10,033,000.00.. The RFP documents, including the selection requirements and the Project Schedule, will be available on the Utah Public Procurement Place (U3P) website at 3:00 PM on Thursday, July 20, 2023 and can also be accessed via the DFCM website - Electronic Bidding. For questions regarding this project, please contact DFCM Project Manager Brad DeMond at bdemond@utah.gov or 801-450-1368. No others are to be contacted regarding this project. Proposals, including references, management plan and statements of qualifications must be submitted to DFCM via email at dfcm_vbs@utah.gov no later than 12:00 Noon on Thursday, August 10, 2023 (see date clarification text box at the bottom of this page). Proposals received after the specified time will not be accepted. The Contractor is responsible for ensuring that delivery to DFCM of all proposal documents is made by the date and time listed on the Project Schedule. The Contractor for the project must be a Utah licensed General Contractor. Association with other individuals or firms having appropriate professional expertise is acceptable. The State will enter into a single agreement with the successful Contractor. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the Fixed Contract Price Limit, made payable to the Division of Facilities Construction and Management as Owner on an AIA Document A310 – 2010 Bid Bond form, or equivalent, shall accompany the Contractor’s Cost Proposal. The Division of Facilities Construction and Management reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any formality or technicality in any proposal in the interest of the State.
