Project consists of construction of a new 2-story Firehouse in the Hidden Valley community for the Charlotte Fire Department (CFD) located at 5800 North Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28262. The work of the project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the followings: 1. The Work includes a concrete slab on grade, elevated concrete composite slab, reinforced concrete masonry unit walls, structural steel, and metal deck roof framing. The exterior consists of modular brick veneer, prefinished aluminum metal panel systems and storefront window systems. 2. New exterior construction work will consist of low masonry walls, masonry screen walls, landscaping, sidewalks, new parking lots, stormwater control measure, new dumpster enclosure and fencing. 3. The project also includes fire sprinkler system, geothermal, and photovoltaic panels. 4. Interior finishes include a combination of gypsum wallboard on metal studs or furring channels and painted block walls. Acoustical and gypsum board ceilings. Floors finishes include integral color concrete, tile, carpet, porcelain tile, luxury vinyl tile, and rubber flooring. 5. Special coordination will be required with the owner's security vendor, A/V vendor, and furniture vendor.
