The County of Volusia, Business Services Department, Facilities Management Division is seeking a single, responsive and responsible bidder for the construction of Daytona Beach Justice Center First Floor Lobby Restroom Renovations located at 251 N Ridgewood Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida 32114. The lowest responsive and responsible bidder shall be responsible for all applicable permitting, labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, and incidentals necessary to complete all Work required by the specifications and as shown on the drawings. Demolition of two restrooms and construction including new plumbing, fixtures, and lighting. Question Submission Deadline August 15, 2023, 11:59pm It is incumbent upon each Bidder to carefully examine this solicitation’s specifications, scope of work/service, terms, and conditions. The posting of answers through the County's eProcurement Portal is the only official method by which interpretation, clarification, or additional information can be given. Payroll costs shall include, but not be limited to, salaries and wages plus the cost of fringe benefits which shall include social security contributions, unemployment, excise and payroll taxes, workmen’s compensation, health and retirement benefits, bonuses, sick leave, vacation, and holiday pay applicable thereto. All licenses and permits required to perform Bidder’s duties under this Bid Contract whether such license or permit is required by the federal government, State of Florida, Volusia County, or any municipality, shall be at Bidder’s sole cost and expense, and shall not be a cost of the County The County reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or any part of any Bid, to waive any informality in any Bid, or to re-advertise for all or part of the work contemplated.The County reserves the right to reject the Bid proposal of a Bidder who has previously failed to perform properly or to complete contracts of a similar nature on time
