The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) is soliciting bids from qualified bidders to provide interim and/or final corrective measures/remedial/removal actions to address releases or threatened releases of hazardous substances/materials to the environment. The purpose of this solicitation is to award Master Regional Site Remediation Contracts to multiple qualified contractors for the specified geographical areas (Berkeley, Sacramento/Clovis, Southern California), as further detailed in this solicitation. The RSRC Master Contracts will be implemented through separate contracts identifying site specific projects and budgets for the work to be performed. Many Site-Specific Contracts will likely be classified as public works, as defined under the California Labor Code, and require compliance with all applicable Labor Code requirements, including payment of prevailing wages and where applicable, apprentice requirements. The term will be three (3) years with the option for DTSC to extend, at its sole and absolute discretion, for an additional two (2) years for the same rates submitted in the bid. This solicitation explains what is required to submit a successful bid package. Prior to submitting a bid, bidders shall review the sample contract documents to ensure they have the ability and resources to complete the required work.
