This scope of work includes all: sitework, buildings, fencing, site furnishings and landscaping to transform a cleared gravel pit into a baseball field and washroom/canteen building as shown on the drawings and as articulated in the specifications. The project shall be substantially complete on or before June 30, 2024. The site is available for construction purposes i.e. starting construction of the work, August 2023 All bids must be accompanied by a security deposit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total tender price. The security deposit may be in the form of a Bid Bond or certified cheque Bid Bond shall be accompanied by a letter from an Insurance Company licensed to do business in the Province of Nova Scotia advising that this Company undertake to issue a Performance Bond for the sum equal to fifty percent (50%) of the tendered price of the contract and a Labour and Materials Payment Bond of equal value. This letter must be endorsed by an authorized signing officer and must bear the seal of the bonding Company.
