The Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority (WVSA) is requesting Bids for the construction of the EAST SIDE INTERCEPTOR REHABILITATION PHASE 2 PROJECT, generally consisting of the installation of a spiral wound PVC steel reinforced liner system in approximately 4,600 linear feet of an existing 48 to 72-inch diameter sanitary gravity interceptor located in the City of Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, PA. Information and Bidding Documents for the Project are available at no cost through the PennBid Program at https://pennbid.procureware.com/home. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with PennBid as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The PennBid website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for this Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the PennBid Program. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Bids shall be provided as total price. Each Bid, when submitted, must be accompanied by a Bid Security in an amount equal to 10% of Bidder's maximum Bid price to be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, and include forms, qualification statements, affidavits and certifications, as more particularly listed in the Bidding Documents. WVSA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability, or familiar status in employment or the provisions of services. WVSA is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price. This project is being supported, either wholly or partially, by federal award number 21.027 - Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery (CSLFRF), which has been granted to Luzerne County by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. WVSA reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities in the Bidding. Question Deadline 11/07/2023 at 5:00 PM ET
