The work will be done by Jaynes Corp. and Lee Gamelsky Architects PC. The larger project is estimated to be about 10,775 square feet and cost about $7,100,000. The smaller project is estimated to be about 938 square feet. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Westgate Community Center Building Addition and Site Improvements Location- 10001 DeVargas Road SW Albuquerque, NM 87121 The City of Albuquerque, through its Department of Municipal Development is requesting competitive sealed proposals with the intent of entering into a contract with a general contractor for the purpose of providing construction services for City-owned buildings. This procurement process is a combined technical qualifications and cost-based selection. The Offeror is required to provide qualifications and other documents as part of the Technical Proposal. The Cost Proposal will be evaluated separately from the Technical Proposal. Offeror's attention is specifically directed to: the Instructions to Offerors; Special Provisions; and, the Supplemental Special Provisions contained in the Proposal Documents. Description of Work: Construction of a 10,775 GSF building addition, connected to the existing Westgate Community Center. The new building areas include 2 meeting rooms, warming kitchen, 2 child development classrooms, toilets, support areas, and selective demolition. A new Support Building and Outdoor Spray Pad is also included as well as site improvements: paving, landscaping, site walls, and bus stop.
