The purpose of this Request for Pre-Qualification is to identify and shortlist a sufficient number of experienced and qualified General Contractors, Mechanical Contractors and Electrical Contractors for the construction of the new Hagersville Library and Active Living Centre and associated works. Construction of the new facility has been incorporated into the County's Tax-Supported Capital Budget with an estimated construction start of Spring 2024. It is about 1,800m2 (18,000 sq.ft.) in floor area and single storey. Question Deadline: Tue Jan 30, 2024 4:30:00 PM (EST) Construction: May 2024 to August 2025 The County reserves the right to retain other consultants at its sole discretion, as the County deems appropriate. Provide a letter from the Contractor's surety company, verifying their capacity to issue a Performance Bond for the 100% of the Contract Value and a Labour and Material Payment Bond for 50% of the Contract Value. Use the estimated contract value of $15 Million as a reference point. The County may request different types of bonds during the tender period.
