Construction Management at Risk Services- Service Workers Honor Pavilion Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate UMBA is seeking Construction Manager Services for a UMass Amherst Pavilion. Scope includes construction of a 1,600 sf open-air pavilion overlooking 26 acres with dramatic views. The Authority is anticipating the estimated construction cost for this project of approximately $5.1 million. The wage rates to be paid on the Project shall be not less than the Prevailing Wage Rates, in effect from time to time, as established by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts - Division of Occupational Safety in conformance with M.G.L. c. 149, 26-27D. The Authority will be engaging an Owner's Project Manager ("OPM") in connection with the Project. Architect Sigrid Miller Pollin will lead the design team (the "Design Team") and provide design services for the Project. The Authority will also hire a Commissioning Agent Firm to develop a testing program for the various systems to be commissioned, as well as necessary testing of systems and/or equipment and start of warranties after systems acceptance. UMBA is seeking bids from Trade Contractors for the UMass Pavilion on the University of Massachusetts Amherst Campus. Scope includes construction of a new 2,300 GSF open air pavilion and adjacent 420 SF restroom and service building. Project will also include sitework and landscaping. The Project consists of: The UMass Pavilion located at the UMass Amherst campus consists of a single story open air structure of approximately 2,330 gross square feet that features a high sloped standing seam roof and exposed structural steel framed ceiling, architecturally polished finished, cast in-place concrete and lattice like ornamental metal walls with inset stained glass panels. Adjacent to the pavilion is a restroom and service outbuilding of approximately 400 square feet set into the sloping site. The buildings are surrounded by extensive landscaping.
