Work for which consists of replacing the compost blowers, one biofilter fan, two leachate pumps, locker rooms renovations, improvements to the electrical system, minor improvements to the composting process, and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract, in accordance with the drawings, technical specifications, special provisions, and City of Columbus Construction and Material specifications set forth in this Invitation For Bid (IFB). Questions pertaining to the drawings and specifications must be submitted in writing only to the [Hatch Associates Consultants Inc.], ATTN: [Hasan Alkhayri], via email at hasan.alkhayri@hatch.com prior to 12/7/2022 12:00 PM local time. Any questions regarding the bidding process may be sent electronically to DPUConstructionBids@columbus.gov. No phone calls will be accepted. All work shall be substantially complete within [670] calendar days of the Notice to Proceed, with final completion to occur within [730] calendar days. The City anticipates issuing a Notice to proceed on or about [May 2023]. The City may cancel the IFB, reject any or all bids in whole or in part, waive technicalities, and/or advertise for new bids, without liability to the City and when in the best interest of the City up until the time the contract is executed by the City. The City shall have 180 calendar days from the date of the bid opening to provide the bidder a Notice of Intent to Award. During this 180 day period, the bidder agrees to hold their bid prices. MBE/WBE GOAL FOR THIS CONTRACT: 25%
