Sealed bids are invited for the construction of Replace HVAC Administration Building at Paul D. Camp Community College, Franklin Campus, Project Code # 260-18501-000 located in Franklin, Virginia. The project is generally described as an HVAC replacement project and includes associated piping replacements and modifications. A Standard Commonwealth Bid Bond is required (form CO-10.2) and Contract Security is required for any bid regardless of bid amount. Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids. Withdrawal due to error in bid shall be permitted in accord with Section 9 of the Instructions to Bidders and 2.2-4330, Code of Virginia. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Replacement of multiple heat pumps, air handling units, pumps, boilers, cooling tower, unit heaters, fume exhausters and exhaust fans. Modifications to ductwork and piping is required to facilitate the new work. Electrical modifications to the building are also included to facilitate the installation of the above-mentioned equipment. Maintain existing building in a weathertight condition throughout the construction period. Repair any damage to the building or grounds caused by construction operations. Protect building, its contents and occupants throughout the construction period. Additive Bid Item A: All exterior roof mounted ductwork shall be replaced with phenolic ductwork.
