Notice of award is still pending, should have more information available on 8/28 The Project consists of improvements to Union County's existing Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. The work as indicated in the project documents consists of all materials, labor, tools, equipment, apparatus, facilities, transportation and incidentals necessary to construct, furnish, deliver and install the following in general: 1. Replace existing Data Flow Systems (DFS) telemetry system and RTUs installed throughout the county drinking water distribution, wastewater treatment, and sewer collection facilities with new cellular telemetry system and new programmable logic controller (PLC) based RTUs. 2. Replace electrical equipment including power distribution and motor starters / local control panels at select facilities identified throughout the county with new equipment. 3. Install new equipment pads, racks, and shelters at select facilities identified throughout the county. 4. Configure, test, and commission PLC based RTUs at each facility. 5. Modify existing central VTScada application to transfer data connection from DFS telemetry system to the new telemetry system. 6. Configure, test, and commission existing Tier-2 historical data storage. Deadline for Questions: June 16, 2023 by 5:00 PM EDT. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Owner further reserve the right to reject the Bid and Bidder whom they find, after reasonable inquiry and evaluation, to not be responsible. Owner may also reject the Bid and Bidder if the Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that Bidder. Owner also reserves the right to waive all informalities and technicalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work and to negotiate, as allowed by law, contract terms with the Successful Bidder.
