The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids/proposals in whole or in part and to waive any irregularities or informalities when in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Cape Coral. NON-MANDATORY N/A The City of Cape Coral is requesting proposals from qualified vendors and/or suppliers to provide the City with two 56'x64' modular Type 5-A classroom units installed with fire sprinklers for each unit containing four classrooms and one restroom facility per classroom for pre-school, kindergarten and/or 1st/2nd grades to comply with all applicable building codes and existing engineering design criteria. The intent is to have the modular classrooms units fabricated, delivered, and stored on-site, ready for contractor installation, during the summer break of FY 2023 (tentatively scheduled between June 3rd to August 10th). The modular building delivery, set-up, assembly, plumbing connection, and skirting installation will be a requirement of the scope of this RFP. All other site work will be a separate contract. The City reserves the right to negotiate the purchase of additional Type 2 and/or Type 5-A modular buildings, with different floorplans, from the selected firm by separate agreement(s). The City is interested in negotiating the purchase of additional Type 2 and/or Type 5-A units, and requests the submitting firm(s) to propose a process/program for the purchase of future Type 2 and/or Type 5-A units. Purchase(s) of additional units would be made on or before September 30, 2025.
