The Village of Pleasant Prairie hereby gives notice that Bids will be received for the construction of the Barnes Creek Water Main Relay. For this project, the Village of Pleasant Prairie will ONLY be receiving and accepting bids via the online electronic bid service . Electronic bids will be accepted until 2:00 P.M., Local Time, on Thursday, November 10, 2022. After the official Bid closing time, the bids will be opened, reviewed and displayed (if accepted). To access the electronic bid form, download the project documents and click the online bidding button at the top of advertisement. The electronic bid form will be available for completion beginning Thursday, November 3, 2022. \ The Project consists of one prime Contract and generally consists of the following: two 24" dia. water main relays, 16" dia. water main relay, water main discontinued in place, clearing and grubbing, aggregate shoulder and driveway restoration, erosion control, traffic control, and construction staking. Approximate quantities include: 321 LF of 24" water main relay (HDD); 253 LF of 24" water main relay; and 113 LF of 16" water main relay. All Contractors shall comply with the "Contractor Qualification Ordinance of the Village of Pleasant Prairie" requiring pre-qualification of Contractors prior to performing work on this Contract. All Contractor pre-qualifications must be complete and submitted 5 days prior to bid opening date/time. Approved pre-qualifications will be posted prior to bid opening. All Sub-contractors utilized for this Contract must be identified in the bid documents under "LIST OF SUBCONTRACTORS AND SUPPLIERS" and all Sub-contractors must be pre-qualified prior to award of this Contract. The Contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 61.54, 61.55, 66.0901, and 66.0903 of the Wisconsin Statutes. \ BID SECURITY: Bid Security in the amount of not less than nor more than 10% of the Bid shall accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Acceptable Bid Security shall be Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Money Order. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive informalities in bidding or accept the Bid or Bids, which best serve the interest of Owner. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 40 days after the opening of the Bids without the consent of Owner.
