Furnish labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to furnish (PCCP), fittings, and specials, including connections and appurtenances as required for the proper installation and function of the pipe as indicated herein. The pipe shall consist of a welded sheet steel cylinder within a dense concrete core and around which there is placed high tensile strength wire, wound helically under measured tension, with a dense mortar coating covering the core and wire, and with steel joint rings of the bell and spigot type for rubber gasket. Only the embedded steel cylinder type will be allowed for this Project. Prospective offerors must register with the Procurement Website as a plan holder, even if proposal documents are obtained from a plan room or other site. All official notifications, addenda and other documents will be offered only through the Procurement Website. Forms obtained from any source other than the District may be incomplete and bidders risk not receiving necessary addenda, or other required documents causing submittal to be considered non-responsive, and eliminating the submittal from award. The District will not be responsible for the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of the final proposal documents obtained from other sources. The deadline to ask questions is 10/25/2022 4:30 PM CST. Questions are to be submitted using the Question and Answer process on the Procurement Website. Response to questions posted on the Procurement Website will be posted on the website by the District for the benefit of all bidders. A response will be given for questions submitted by end of day on October 25 2022. A response will be posted for questions submitted by end of day on November 8, 2022.
