As of August 8, 2023, this project is in the planning phase. A bond is expected for ballot in November of 2023 for project funding. Information regarding a design firm and the contractor selection has not been disclosed. A firm timeline for construction timeline has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Governing Board of the Springfield Clark Career Technology Center (Clark County) is seeking a professional design firm to provide pre-bond issue assistance services related to the renovation and/or new construction of their Career Technology Center. The Governing Board will be participating in the OFCC VFAP program. The scope of pre-bond assistance services will include such things as validating studies, POR exercises, feasibility studies, estimates of cost, determining the need/desire for LFI's, the development of a Master Plan and the creation of graphics to serve as informational/promotional tools. This scope is limited to pre-design and does not imply continuance into full design services for the project should the project become funded. A separate selection process for A/E services will occur only after the Governing Board has obtained its funding. A copy of the RFQ may be obtained by emailing Steve Shergalis Questions regarding the RFQ should be sent to Steve Shergalis via email. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
