The construction of Water Improvements to Expand the 825 Pressure Zone Capacity of the Citys Water Distribution System includes the Northside II Pump Station Expansion, Ground Storage Tank, City of Richardson Water Line, NTMWD Metering Station and Water Transmission Line. The expansion to 15 MGD has been commissioned to provide increased potable water needs associated with new development and growing demands. A new 5 MG Ground Storage Tank will be constructed adjacent to the Existing Northside Facility. Approximately 6,500 linear feet (LF) 30-inch, 2,100 LF of 20-inch, and 2,100 LF of 12-inch waterline along Renner Road, generally from Northside Pump Station (Pump Station) to Alma Road and along Alma Road from Renner Road to just south of President George Bush Turnpike (PGBT). The purpose of the water line is to facilitate moving the service area north of Renner Road and west of Alma Road (Service Area) from the 767 East Pressure Zone (767 EPZ) to the 825 Pressure Zone (825 PZ) and includes the following: Connection to 825PZ at the Pump Station. Multiple connections to the Service Area with the new pipeline as identified by the City. Maintain connectivity between 767 EPZ and 825 PZ. Maintain operation of the existing Booter Station west of Custer Road. A new North Texas Municipal Water District Metering Station and Water Transmission Line will be installed at the NSPS Site and along Renner Road from the NSPS to Custer Road to provide additional capacity to COR water system. Archer Western Construction, LLC (AW) and the City of Richardson, TX are requesting proposals from qualified, responsible companies for the Richardson 825 Pressure Zone CMAR project. AW and City of Richardson, TX reserve the right to accept or reject any and all responses at its option and to waive any formalities.
