Treatment is in the Hickerson Park area near the Spirit Lake road, in Daggett county 29 road miles southwest of Manila, UT Approximately 279 acres of vegetation management in the Hickerson Park Restoration project area of the Ashley National Forest as identified on attached site map. The project is for forest restoration consisting of a precommercial thinning treatment of young lodgepole pine stands, a sanitation treatment of trees infected with dwarf mistletoe, and a conifer elimination treatment within a riparian area. Slash will be treated generally by bucking cut material greater than 3 inches in diameter to lengths less than 2 feet long and lopping slash to a height less than 12 to18 inches, depending on the site. This contract requires the Contractor to furnish labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and associated incidentals.: The Hickerson Park Restoration project is located 29 road miles southwest of Manila, Utah. The site is near the Spirit Lake road in Daggett County. Elevation of the project is near 9,000 feet with slopes range from flat to approximately 25% with the majority of the project being less than 10%. Question Deadline 07/06/2023 at 2:00 PM. Nothing herein shall be construed as eliminating or modifying a Contractor’s obligation to mitigate damages they may incur due to the circumstances necessitating a Major Change Order, or the State’s right to terminate an Agreement in lieu of issuing a Change Order. Any provision attempting to limit the liability of Contractor or limit the rights of the State Entity or the State of Utah must be in writing and attached to this Purchase Order or it is rendered null and void.
