For this project, the Village of Mount Pleasant will ONLY be receiving and accepting bids for the HOWE STREET SANITARY FLOW METER via the online electronic bid service through QuestCDN. The online bid portal will be open beginning October 11, 2022. After the official Bid closing time, Bids will be opened, reviewed and, if accepted, displayed. To access the electronic bid form, download the project documents and click the online bidding button at the top of advertisement. The electronic bid form will be available for completion beginning October 11, 2022. All bidders must file a Bidders Qualification Statement with the Owner on or before 10:00 am Tuesday, October 11, 2022. Flow meter, control panel, conduit, base aggregate dense, HMA pavement, concrete curb and gutter, concrete pad/sidewalk, traffic control, and restoration. \ This is a unit price contract. The estimated quantities as indicated above and on the Bid Schedule are inserted only for the purpose of determining the low bidder. and within 60 calendar days of the project construction start date. \ The Contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 61.54, 62.15, and 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. All bidders, and sub-contractors, must file a "3-Year Contractor's Qualification Application," and other documents with the Bid (see Instructions to Bidders). NOTE: ALL applications that were previously approved under the last 3-year cycle expired on 1/31/2022. Therefore, ALL bidders and subcontractors MUST submit a new application form and $75.00 application fee in order to be considered for this project. All completed 3-Year Contractor's Qualification Applications should be submitted directly to the Village of Mount Pleasant. \ Bids shall be submitted on the electronic Bid Form provided through Quest CDN. All blanks must be filled in for the bid to be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days from the date of the bid opening. Failure to list subcontractors or suppliers may be cause for rejection of the Bid. \ Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check made payable to the Owner in an amount of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within 15 days after the Award, the Bid Security shall be forfeited to Owner as liquidated damages. \ Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids received, to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the Work and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and the right to accept the Bid or Bids which best serve the interests of the Owner, subject to the provisions of Wisconsin Statutes, Sections 62.15 and 66.0901.
