The City of Ames is accepting bids from contractors for the Ames City Hall Interior Updates project. Contact Karen Server at karen.server@cityofames.org for the Invitation for Bid. The general nature of the work consists of removal of flooring in Police area and installing new flooring and wall base; new paint on first and second floor throughout the building; and removal of furniture as needed. It is expected that at completion of a phase the contractor moves immediately into the next phase. Add Alternates #1, #2 and #3 are stated in the bidding documents. All other work indicated in the contract documents shall also be included in the project scope.
