The City of Bowling Green, Kentucky reserves the right to reject any and all bids received, and to select that bid which it determines to be in its best interest. The award of this bid will be made on the basis of the Lowest Bid Price as permitted in KRS 45A.365. The City of Bowling Green, Kentucky is soliciting bids for the construction of three concrete pads. The largest pad shall be a 64'x30', 8" thick with 6" compacted DGA and shall have a thickened edge all the way around going down to 24" deep by 12" wide. This pad shall be 5,000 psi concrete and shall be poured monolithic with 6 mil vapor barrier between the DGA and concrete. This pad shall be flat and rated for future building construction and shall tie into the existing drive entrance off of East 7 th Avenue. Two more pads shall also be constructed. The second pad shall be 16'x30' and shall be 6" concrete with 4" DGA and no thickened slab around the edges. The third pad shall be 15'x20' and shall also be 6" concrete and 4" DGA and no thickened slab around the edge. Respondents shall also perform all necessary dirt work at a maximum 4 to 1 slope and shall re-seed all affected areas with turf type fescue. Respondents shall add a $15,000 allowance to their bid price for contingency, only to be used upon approval by the City of Bowling Green
