Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required for completion of the improvements to three existing welded steel potable water tanks in the TMWA distribution system Desert Springs 2B is a 1.7-million-gallon tank, Vista 1 is a 2.0-million-gallon tank, and Beaumont 1 is a 1.3-million-gallon tank. Work will require selective demolition; steel fabrication; modifications to meet NAC requirements; blasting and coating; and telemetry work. Locations- Vista Tank - Near 3004 Earthstone Drive, Sparks, NV 89436 Beaumont Tank - Near 2940 Sandestin Drive, Reno, NV 89523 TMWA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation the right to reject any or all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids, and to reject the bid of any bidder if TMWA believes that it would not be in the best interest of TMWA to make an award to that bidder. TMWA also reserves the right to waive informalities. Bids will be evaluated as prescribed in Nevada Revised Statute 338.147.
