As of August 1,2023, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the design phase. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Transportation Region/Bureau: North Central Region Solicitation ID: NC-01 Anticipated Construction Cost: $6,000,000-$6,999,999 Route : STH 021E County : 01 - Adams County Limit : Juneau County Line to Sth 13 The pavement needs treatment to extend its service life. Perpetuation project to resurface approximately 11.16 centerline miles of STH 21 between Necedah and Coloma, from the Juneau County Line to STH 13, in the Town of Strongs Prairie in Adams County. The project includes a 4-inch mill and overlay of the existing asphaltic pavement, non-metallic pipe replacements for C- 01-9006, C-01-9007, and C-01-9008, maintaining asphalt rumble strips and replacement of all the guardrail. Structure B-01-325 on STH 21 over the Big Roche A Cri will have the deck edge repaired and stainless steel drip edge installed, abutment corner surface repairs, all approach beam guard will be replaced and approach drainage units replaced/reconstructed. The contract price will be based on an estimate of the selected consultant's actual costs plus fixed fee. Actual costs will be defined as those costs allowable under the cost principles in Part 31 of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Consultant costs including indirect cost rates and cost accounting system will be subject to audit. Consultant firms that are unable to account for costs consistent with requirements of the FAR are not eligible to contract. Consultants selected will be required to either submit or have on file with WisDOT a Consultant Financial Report prior to contract execution. Information on the report may be found electronically. Advertised Fixed Fee %: 7.25 The fixed fee for this contract will apply an indirect cost factor of 150% to the consultant's estimated direct labor, regardless of the consultant's actual indirect rate. Interview: Interviews will not be conducted The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
