A firm timeline for construction has not been disclosed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Compensation Type: Lumpsum Q&A deadline: 09/16/2022 11:00 AM County(s): MINERAL, EUREKA Mina and Eureka Worker Housing Design Services The DEPARTMENT has purchased, or is in the process of purchasing, land within the Towns of Mina (District I), and Eureka (District III), for the purposes of building a total of six (6) residences (four (4) in Mina and two (2) in Eureka). The housing is intended to be provided to local maintenance employees, in order to improve recruitment and retention in these areas. To achieve this, the DEPARTMENT requires the service of a licensed Architect, and Engineers who are experienced with residential design and site improvements. The DEPARTMENT is seeking professionals who are current in this field of professional practice, and can provide design services (stamped drawings and specifications) as required by the State Public Works Division, building permit regulations, and local authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ), along with support services for construction and inspection of these new homes. The intended approach is to produce a design of a residence in accordance with an established design criteria, and to use this approved design for construction at each of the locations. The Department is seeking one firm for the design and construction of a total of six new homes, intended to provide housing for local maintenance employees in Mineral and Eureka Counties.
