construct a new police facility adjacent to their existing station on 6th Street. The City hired Mackenzie as the architect and design professional for the project. The project team has recently completed the schematic design phase and the project is estimated to have a construction value of $15-16M. The City desires to bring a CMGC on board to assist with identifying value engineering opportunities and help mitigate risks with long lead material procurement. Additionally, coordination of phasing the existing station to remain operational during construction of the new facility is imperative. Questions pertaining to this RFP must be received in advance of the questions/clarifications deadline and shall be presented in writing to: Melissa Ince - melissa.ince@umatilla.gov Questions will be compiled and collectively addressed in writing prior to the deadline for receipt of proposals The CMGC shall have the capability to obtain Payment and Performance Bonds for the full amount of the contract price for this Project. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required at the time the construction Contract is awarded. The final value of the Bonds will equal the negotiated amount of the construction Contract(s). The City reserves the right to not select any firm for the services based on this RFP, to accept or reject any or all submittals, or to cancel, at its discretion, this RFP at any time. Also, if the project cannot be delivered within the allocated budget and/or schedule, the City retains the option to cancel the Project, reduce the scope, or deliver the project by other means. This RFP does not commit the City to award a contract or to pay any costs incurred in preparing a submittal or to procure or contract for services or supplies.
