Maintenance & Protection of Traffic, Milling, Base Repair, Fire House Apron Replacement, Scratch, Binder and Wearing Courses and associated pave, restorations. This project is funded by a grant from the Commonwealth Financing Authority, Local Share Account Grant Contract C000080322. BID SECURITY in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Performance, Payment & One (1) Year Maintenance Bonds are required by the successful bidder. Non-discrimination/sexual harassment in employment-bidders on their work will be required to comply with the NONDISCRIMINATION/ SEXUAL HARASSMENT CLAUSE included in the contract documents shall not because of gender, race, creed, or color, discriminate against any citizen of this Commonwealth who is qualified and available to perform the work to which the employment relates. Prevailing Wage Rate Determination from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry shall be used in this project. THE BOROUGH OF HUGHESTOWN reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive informalities in the bidding, ALSO TO DELETE items in part or entirely to enable the project to be within financial budget. BIDS may be held by the BOROUGH OF HUGHESTOWN for a period not to exceed FORTY-FIVE (45) days from the date of the Opening of the Bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids, prior to awarding the Contract. In this period of time, no Bidder may withdraw his Bid
