Bid Security equal to 5% of Base Bid will be required, in the form of a Bid Bond, Cashiers Check, or Certified Check. Questions or requests for clarification shall be directed to the Architect. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn without the consent of the Owner or forfeit of Bid Security for a period of thirty (30) days subsequent to the date for receipt of bids. This branch of the work includes coordination with all utility companies; agency review fees and all inspection fees; all labor, materials, tools, excavation and backfill and all equipment necessary for the installation of all Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning, System as shown on the Drawings and Specifications and/or as required for complete and operating systems. The work shall include starting, balancing, and the necessary and required tests to insure the proper operation of the complete system. B. All work for this project must comply and be in strict accordance with the Kentucky Building Code, Kentucky Plumbing Code, Kentucky Boiler Code, NFPA, ADA, NEC and all local codes and regulations. C. In general (as a minimum) all materials and equipment must be installed in strict accordance with manufacturer's requirements; and provided with all required controls, internal fusing, relays, piping connections, electrical connections, ductwork connections, etc., to provide for complete and operable systems. The Architect and Engineer do not define the scope of individual trades, Sub-Contractors, material suppliers and vendors. Any sheet numbering system or specification numbering system used which identifies disciplines is solely for the Architect and Engineers convenience and is not intended to define a Sub51 Contractors scope of work. Information regarding individual trades, Sub-Contractors, material suppliers and vendors may be detailed, described, and indicated at different locations throughout the Contract Documents.
