The scope of work includes the rehabilitation/painting of a Huntsville Utilities water tank (Highway 72 East). The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment and transportation necessary to perform the Water Tank Rehabilitation called for under this contract in a timely, safe, and professional manner. The estimated date for the Notice to Proceed to be issued is December 1, 2022. The project must be complete by March 31, 2023. The bids will be opened in the Huntsville Utilities Training Room located at 112 Spragins Street Huntsville, AL 35801, at the date and time referenced above. A cashiers check or a bid bond payable to the City of Huntsville, Alabama, d/b/a/ Huntsville Utilities for an amount not less than 5% of the contractor's bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00, will be required to accompany each contractor's bid. A performance bond, a payment bond, a maintenance bond and insurance will be required prior to execution of the contract. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the Presidents Executive Order No. 112-46, as amended.
