The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the following Base Bid: Furnish and install approximately 40 LF of 6” DR18 PVC water main and 54 LF of 8” DR18 PVC water main by direct bury. Furnish and install approximately 271 LF of 10” DR11 HDPE water main by Horizontal Directional Drilling. Following the horizontal directional drill, a 17 LF 8” DR18 PVC water main shall be installed connecting to the 10” HDPE pipe to serve a private property on the west side of the right-of-way. The work shall include all pipe, fittings, valves, and appurtenances as shown on the plans or required to complete the work ready for operation by the Owner. All Bids must be made on the forms provided, properly executed, placed in an envelope and mailed or delivered in accordance with this Invitation to Bid. A Performance and Payment Bond will be required of the successful bidder. Bid prices must remain valid for ninety (90) days after the public opening of the bids. Goods and services proposed shall meet all requirements of the Ordinances of the City of Atlantic Beach. The City of Atlantic Beach reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts of bids, waive informalities and technicalities, make award in whole or in part with or without cause, and to make the award in what is deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Atlantic Beach Troy Stephens, tstephens@coab.us.
